There will be No School on Friday, November 22nd in order for our students and staff members to attend services for Holly and Jenna. This decision was made based on what we do as a family to support two of our own staff members in their time of need.

VES is accepting applications for a full time teacher's aide position. Applicants must either have an Associates degree or 60 hours of college credit. Interested persons should apply to Mrs. Mesnard, VES Principal, via email at email@example.com. If you would like to attach a letter of interest and/or resume, that would be great as well.
The annual VES Fall Fun Fair will be Friday, Nov. 1 with the meal being served from 5:00-7:00 and the carnival in the gym from 5:30-7:30. If you have NOT already sent in the yellow note stating what times you could be available to help with a game or activity, please do so. Right now I have the 5:00 time slots completely filled in but could use some more help during the later time slots, such as 6:00-6:30, 6:30-7:00, and 7:00-7:30. If you are available for any of these slots please let Mrs. Mesnard know. For those of you parents who signed up for a time frame, I have sent you a confirmation note in your child's backpack on a half sheet of pink paper so you will know what time to be here and in what spot to work. Thanks in advance! Also, if you signed up to bring a cake walk dessert, dessert pie or cake, or two liter of soda, please make sure you have those items to school as early in the day as you can bring them. It takes all day to get ready for this event! :)
