Happy Valentine's Day! 8th Grade students at VJHS showed the love by making cards for those in nursing homes!
VCUSD #203 will be dismissing school early on Friday, February 14th for a school improvement day-Dismissal Times are as follows: VES-11:30 AM; VJHS-11:30 AM 4th Grade walkers/pick-ups/early bus students and 11:45 AM Grades 5th to 8th ; VCHS-11:45 AM. There will be No Pre-K Classes. Also, there will be no school on Monday, February 17th in observance of President's Day. School will resume on Tuesday, February 18th.
The districts phone lines coming in and out are back up and working again. Thank you all for your cooperation through this outage.
If you have essential changes in transportation to report, please contact the transportation department at transportation@vandals203.org by 2 pm. (normally we require these by 12 pm but has been extended due to phone issues) The reported district phone line issues do not affect these alert messages.

This week, we celebrate National School Counselors Week! We are so fortunate to have a dedicated team of school counselors who provide invaluable support to our students, families, and staff. Mrs. Halford's 6th, 7th & 8th grade STEM classes have been working on several projects this year. Each quarter one project is learning about design through the LEGO Wall Project - Check out 3rd Quarter's Project below:

If your student is in grades K,2nd, 6th, or 9th grade and is not compliant with the State of Illinois requirements for a dental exam, this program is a great program to take advantage of. It is a free program for all students. You can either sign up online with the QR code below or obtain a copy of the form from the district nurses.
