ATTENTION VCHS SENIORS & PARENTS:
TONIGHT
We’re hosting a FAFSA Completion Night for our seniors and their parents on October 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the VCHS library. We will have a FAFSA expert available, along with Mrs. Major and Mrs. Kern to help families complete the FAFSA.

Here are a few pictures from today’s visit to Eastern Illinois University! Approximately 50 VCHS students attended an admissions presentation and toured campus and the residence halls. They also heard from Vandalia alumni during a Q&A panel, giving our students a chance to ask questions and learn firsthand about college life at EIU.

Good afternoon families. First and foremost, I want to let you know there is not an emergency. Everyone is safe. Our intruder alarm went off at VES. All safety protocols were followed as if this was a real situation. It was a system malfunction and we have backup plans to use in the meantime while we get the system issue resolved hopefully by 4:00 p.m. We are about 10 minutes behind now with bus routes. We hope to see you this evening for our Homecoming football game. Go Vandals!

FCA would like to thank all the students who led See You At The Pole this morning! Thank you to all the students, staff, and community for coming to pray for our nation, community & schools. #syatp #syatp2026
