Student Council Bake Sale Tomorrow during Red/White Night!
VCUSD #203 will be dismissing school early on Tuesday, November 26th. Dismissal times are as follows: VES - 2:00 PM walkers/pick-ups/and early bus students ; 2:10 PM Late bus students; and Pre-K Morning 8:00 – 11:00 AM Pre-K Afternoon 12:00 - 2:00 PM. VJHS -
4th Grade – 2:00 PM walkers/pick-ups/and early bus students; and 5th thru 8th Grades – 2:15 PM. VCHS - 2:15 PM. There will be no school on Wednesday, November 27th, Thursday, November 28th, and Friday, November 29th. School will resume on Monday, December 2nd.

This week, our 9th-grade students took on the role of literary detectives in an Edgar Allan Poe Crime Scene Investigation Project! 🕵️♂️🕵️♀️
Through collaboration and critical thinking, students:
📖 Analyzed Poe's chilling texts to uncover key details about the crime.
📝 Completed in-depth character analysis to explore victimology.
🎭 Developed a suspect profile based on evidence from the story.
⏳ Created detailed timelines to piece together the events and solve the mystery!
