VCUSD #203 will be dismissing school early on Monday, December 18th and Tuesday, December 19th. Dismissal times are as follows: VES - 2:00 PM walkers/pick-ups/and early bus students. Pre-K AM 8:00 – 11:00 AM Pre-K PM 12:00 - 2:00 PM. VJHS- 4th Grade – 2:00 PM walkers/pick-ups/and early bus students; 5th thru 8th Grades – 2:15 PM. VCHS - 2:15 PM. There will be NO school from Wednesday, December 20th - Wednesday, January 3rd. School will resume on Thursday, January 4th

VCHS Cheerleaders started their competition season at the ICCA Invitational Competition at Pinckneyville today. In both the Game Day and Small Varsity divisions, they got a qualifying score for the ICCA State championships! Championships are 1/6/24 in Springfield.
VCHS hosted its annual College and Career Day Friday, December 8th. Our students enjoyed listening and learning from over 50 universities, colleges, trades, military and careers from our surrounding community. Check out more of our pictures on our Facebook Page.

Vandalia CUSD #203 is hiring a school nurse for VCHS! We are seeking a compassionate individual with a passion for both physical and mental well being of teenagers and our staff. Must hold a valid RN license and be able to start on January 4, 2024.
