On April 12th, Vandalia High School will be administering the PSAT to all freshman and sophomores, and the SAT to all Juniors. The freshman and sophomores will be dismissed at normal time. Juniors will be allowed to leave once testing is completed and Seniors will not report to school on this day.

VCUSD #203 will be dismissing school early on March 27th for Spring Break. Dismissal times are as follows: VES - 2:00 pm walkers/pick-ups/early bus students. PreK am 8 am - 11 am ~ PreK pm 12 pm - 2pm. VJHS - 2:00pm 4th grade walkers/pick-ups/early bus students and 2:15 pm 5th - 8th grade. VHS - 2:15 pm. There will be no school from Thursday, March 28th - Monday, April 1st. School will resume on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Vandalia Elementary School will be pre-registering students entering Kindergarten during the 24-25 school year. Children must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2024, to enter Kindergarten for next school year. Instead of in-person registration, you may drop off the yellow enrollment form, a copy of the child's birth certificate, and immunization record anytime during normal working hours at the VES office between now and May 1, 2024. If you need a pre-registration packet or have any questions, please contact the VES office at 618-283-5166.
