VCUSD #203 will be dismissing school early on Friday, March 7th for a school improvement day-Dismissal Times are as follows: VES-11:30 AM; VJHS-11:30 AM 4th Grade walkers/pick-ups/early bus students and 11:45 AM Grades 5th to 8th; VCHS-11:45 AM. There will be No Pre-K Classes.

Thank you to our Vandalia Soroptimist Chapter for providing the Dream It Be It Conference for our Sophomore girls! What a great day of setting goals, having fun and building support!
We brought home hardware last night! 13 Vandals competed in the 2025 Knight Boys Invitational at Principia College. We have 3 medalists & several that were so close! 🏃♂️Sam Bowers got 2nd in the FS 60m hurdles with a time 9.2 🏃♂️Kohnor Depew got 5th in Varsity high jump with a height of 6’ 🏃♂️Jackson Wimberly got 5th in Varsity Pole Vault with a height of 10’ 11.5” Our boys competed against 32 other teams & put up a decent fight against some 1A, 2A & 3A schools. It was a great start to our season. The boys will compete next at EIU on March 8th.
Vandalia High School will host the IHSA 2A Girls Basketball Super-Sectional! Join us on March 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM for the Camp Point Central vs. Nashville game. Live Stream available on NFHS Network.

Noah Calhoun, a Vandalia Community High School NHS member, is collecting clean, unused fabric for St. John’s Children’s Hospital NICU. The fabric will be used to create bonding hearts—small sewn hearts worn by mothers to help soothe and comfort their infants.
🔹 Fabric Requirements: New, clean, at least 8” x 7”, any color or pattern.
🔹 Drop-Off Locations: VCHS Office, Bethel Baptist Church, Jr. High Office.
