VCHS Freshmen Orientation is tomorrow night, Tuesday, May 9th at 6:00 pm in the VCHS Gym. All incoming Freshmen for the 23-24 school year are encouraged to attend with their parents/guardians. There will be a tour and opportunity to speak with coaches and sponsors of athletics, clubs, and organizations offered at VCHS.

Softball and Baseball games scheduled for today 5/8/23 at Carlyle have been cancelled due to wet field conditions.

Congratulations to our VCHS Envirothon Team! They were the top scoring team in aquatics and won the spirit award! Great work Vandals!

Vandalia is competing at the Illinois State Envirothon today and tomorrow at the 4-H camp outside of Monticello, IL. Good luck Vandals!

Does your student want to see the world? Closer to home or overseas, our next two tours give you the option to choose! VCHS Student Travel will be opening enrollment for our next 2 tours! Come with us in June 2024 to Washington, DC & New York City, or travel abroad and join us for our grandest tour yet. An 11-day tour through France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, and Austria! (Student must have completed their freshman year by the time of travel) More information will be available soon!

Attention VCHS Baseball: 4/27/23 Baseball today at Brownstown has been moved up to a 4 pm start time.

We are accepting applications for the following coaching positions for the 23-24 school year: VCHS Head Girls Basketball, VCHS Girls Golf, VJHS 8th Grade Volleyball, Assistant Baseball, Assistant Softball, and Assistant Boys Basketball. If you are interested in applying for a coaching position, please submit a letter of interest and resume or district application to Mr. Jason Clay, Athletic Director, at jclay@vandals203.org. Deadline for applying is Monday, May 8, 2023 at 8:30 A.M.

VCHS Awards Day will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 9:00am in the VCHS Gym. Parents and Guests are welcome to attend and we will have the east bleachers reserved for all guests.

VCHS Art Club invites you to our first Vandalia School District Art Show on Friday, April 28th from 6 - 8 pm at Vandalia High School! This Art Show will include art from VES, VJHS, VCHS, and Faculty/Staff. Join us to support all of our school art programs!
