- Pre-K: Physical exam, Immunization record, Lead screening, Birth Certificate
- Kindergarten: Physical exam, Immunization record including Dtap #5, IPV #4, MMR #2, Varicella #2, Lead screening, Birth Certificate, Dental exam, Eye exam
- 2nd: Dental exam
- 6th: Physical exam, Dental exam, Tdap & Meningococcal Immunizations, Proof of MMR#2 and Varicella #2 Immunizations

• All elementary and junior high cookie dough orders will be ready for pickup on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Pickup will be held at the VES Gym from 3:30p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Early order pickup will not be allowed. Parents and guardians should park in the parking lot off of Veterans Avenue directly behind VES and enter through the rear door at VES beginning at 3:30 p.m. All orders will be frozen and will need to be distributed to the buyers immediately. We will not be able to hold your cookie dough until the next day as we do not have freezer space available. It must be picked up on this day and during this time period.

Pickup Date: Thursday, May 18, 2023
Pickup Time: 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Location: VES Gymnasium (This is for all VES and VJHS orders.)
Instructions: Parents and/or guardians are asked to park in the parking lot
that is located off of Veterans Ave. directly behind VES and enter using the
rear VES entrance. Please, park in the parking spaces- NOT the drive way
that is close to the school. This is to ensure that everyone stays safe. We
realize that some may have large orders. We will be prepared to help you
get the items to your car.
*NO ONE is allowed into the school for early pickup. VES uses the rear
hallway to dismiss a majority of their students (pickup and bus riders). The
school will not be cleared for parents or guardians to pick up orders until
after 3:30 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS!
**NO orders will be held at VES overnight. All items are delivered frozen,
and therefore, they need to be distributed to the buyer immediately. There
is not enough freezer space at the school to keep the items. If you cannot
make pickup on the required day and during the given time frame, we ask
that you find someone who can help you.

VCHS Freshmen Orientation is tomorrow night, Tuesday, May 9th at 6:00 pm in the VCHS Gym. All incoming Freshmen for the 23-24 school year are encouraged to attend with their parents/guardians. There will be a tour and opportunity to speak with coaches and sponsors of athletics, clubs, and organizations offered at VCHS.
We are accepting applications for the following coaching positions for the 23-24 school year: VCHS Head Girls Basketball, VCHS Girls Golf, VJHS 8th Grade Volleyball, Assistant Baseball, Assistant Softball, and Assistant Boys Basketball. Vandalia Elementary School is currently pre-registering students entering Kindergarten during the 2023-24 school year. In lieu of in-person registration, please register your child anytime during normal working hours at the VES office between now and May 1st, 2023. Pre-registration paperwork was distributed by all local daycares. If you need a pre-registration packet or have any questions, please contact the VES office at 618-283-5166.
