Vandalia Sports Boosters and Code Red invite you to our Football Playoff Seeding Party on Saturday, October 26th; 7-9pm at the VCHS Sports Boosters Tent by the Football Field!
Early Dismissal - Parent/Teacher Conferences. Dismissal times are as follows: Thursday, October 24th VES - 2:00 pm walkers/pickups and early bus students; 2:10 late bus students; PreK AM - 8:00 - 11:00 am; PreK pm 12:00-2:00pm. VJHS - 4th grade - 2:00 pm walkers/pickups and early bus students; 5th-8th grades 2:15pm. VCHS - 2:15pm. Friday, Oct. 25th there will be no student attendance.
Schedules for parent/teacher conferences for all schools is Thurs. Oct 24th -3:00-6:00 pm. Friday, O t. 25th - 8:00am - noon.
Admission into the game on Friday is a donation to Nourishing Greatness!
October 18th at the Senior Night football game, People's State Bank is sponsoring a backpack food night to support the local Nourishing Greatness program. In place of regular admission, fans are asked to bring non-perishable food items to send home with hungry kids on the weekends. Please give generously!! Suggested items are granola bars, pop tarts, oatmeal, snack crackers/cookies. Preferably not canned goods as they tend to be heavy for the kids to carry home. Thank you for your support of this local program!

South Central High School and Vandalia High School are joining together once again to raise money for Alzheimer's Awareness! If you or your business would like to sponsor the t-shirts that will be sold as a fundraiser, please fill out the form and send it to South Central High School. The deadline for sponsorships is November 1.

VCUSD #203 will not have student attendance on Friday, Oct. 11th for a Teacher Institute day. School will be closed on Monday, Oct. 14th in observance of Columbus Day. The normal school schedule will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 15th.
VES Fall Fun Fest will be held Thursday, October 3rd. Dinner will be served from 5:00-7:00 pm. The meal will be chili/peanut butter sandwich or a hot dog and chips - $5.00 for an adult and $3.00 for a child. The Festival will take place from 5:30 - 7:30 pm - each game is worth one ticket. The cost is $5.00 for 20 tickets. All VES students and families are invited to attend.
