VCUSD #203 will be dismissing school early on Friday, February 13th, for a school improvement day. Dismissal times are as follows: VES-11:30 AM; VJHS-11:30 AM 4th Grade walkers/pick-ups/early bus students and 11:45 AM Grades 5th to 8th; VCHS-11:45 AM. There will be No Pre-K Classes. Also, there will be no school on Monday, February 16th, in observance of Presidents' Day. School will resume on Tuesday, February 17th.

Vandalia Elementary School will be pre-registering students who will enter Kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year. To be eligible, children must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2026.
To help us plan and prepare for incoming students, we kindly ask that you complete a Kindergarten registration packet and return it to the Vandalia Elementary School office no later than March 6. Registration packets may be dropped off anytime during normal office hours between now and the deadline.
If you or someone you know needs a registration packet, please contact the elementary school office at 618-283-5166, and they will be happy to assist you.

Back to School, tomorrow, Vandals!
🎒We are officially back to in-person learning tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 28th. While we’ve enjoyed our e-learning days, we’re ready to have the classrooms full again.

❄️Since it’s still a "winter wonderland" out there, please remember to dress warmly and give yourselves a few extra minutes for the morning commute.
