We are thrilled to announce that a brand new Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is forming at Vandalia Elementary!
Our goal is to bring parents, guardians and community members together to support our students, plan fun school events, and build a stronger community. But to make this a success, we need your voice, your ideas, and your unique talents.

Whether you have a lot of time to give or just want to stay connected, there is a place for you here. No prior experience or set commitment is required!

VCHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes invites everyone to See You at the Pole (annual student-led prayer event) on Wednesday, September 23, at 7:30 a.m. We'll be gathering at the flagpole in front of Vandalia High School to pray for our school, community, and nation. (Donuts provided)

Another congratulations goes to our VJHS Boys Baseball Team for earning the #1 Seed in their regional tournament!

The postseason run kicks off on Saturday, September 19th, on our home field!

Dear VES, VCHS, and OKAW Families, We wanted to make you aware that all schools besides VJHS are currently under a boil order, which we anticipate will remain in place through approximately Tuesday. If your student typically drinks water throughout the school day, you are welcome to send a bottle of water or a filled water bottle with them to school. This is completely optional and is simply an alternative for students who prefer to have their own water while the boil order is in effect. We will continue to follow all necessary safety precautions at school, have drinking water available and will keep you updated as soon as the boil order has been lifted. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our students safe.

VCUSD #203 will be dismissing school early on Friday, September 11th for School Improvement. There will be No Pre-K Classes. Dismissal times are as follows:
VES: 11:30 AM; VJHS: 11:30 AM 4th Grade - walkers/pick-ups/early bus students
11:45 AM Grades 5th to 8th – In Town Bus Routes; VCHS: 11:45 AM – In Town Bus Routes.
Dismissal time for all out-of-town Bus routes is 12:10 PM.

ATTENTION VCHS JV FOOTBALL: 🏈9/7/26- Tomorrow's JV game at Pana will be a 1:30 start instead of 1:00 due to the Pana Labor Day parade.
