The St. Louis Cardinals' rain-out make-up game is officially set for Tuesday, August 20th, 2024! We'll share all the details on how to claim your new tickets as soon as we have them. Thanks for your patience!
The link for the Fall Transportation Form for the 24/25 School Year is now available for completion. You can access the link on the Vandals App, our website, or your email.
Please fill out the form by July 15th, with as much detail as possible, to help us get your child set up for Transportation. With the shortage of drivers, we may have to rework routes. Also, due to the number of students on late buses, we will need all eligible Pre-K through 4th-grade students to ride the early buses regardless of older siblings. Sorry for this inconvenience.
Please help us start the school year out with the least amount of confusion possible. Also, a reminder if you live within 1.5 miles without an approved hazardous area you are not eligible for transportation.
If you have any questions, please call the transportation line after August 1st at 618-283-8135. This gives us time to work through and set up all of our district students’ transportation.

- 2nd: Dental exam
- 6th: Physical exam, Dental exam, Tdap & Meningococcal Immunizations, Proof of MMR#2 and Varicella #2 Immunizations

Final Exams will be held on Tuesday, May 21st and Wednesday, May 22nd with Early Dismissal times as follows:
VES - 2:00 pm walkers/2:10 pm bus students
VJHS - 4th grade 2:00 pm walkers/pickups and early bus students
5th - 8th grade 2:15 pm
VCHS - 2:15 pm
Last Student day is Wednesday, May 22nd.

Freshman Orientation will be on Monday, May 20th. All incoming Freshmen for the 24-25 school year are encouraged to attend with their parents/guardians. There will be a tour and opportunity to speak with coaches and sponsors of athletics, clubs, and organizations offered at VCHS.

Vandalia CUSD #203 is hiring a second shift custodian. This is a 12 month position with benefits. The Lady Vandals at Vandalia High School will be hosting a 3-day volleyball camp for your future athletes! This clinic will be open to girls going into grades 2nd - 8th for the 2024-2025 school year. This is open to all area residents, so come join us!
